Canon City & Skyline Drive

Downtown Canon City is 15 minutes from the ranch, with breweries, a historic Main Street, and the scenic Skyline Drive along the ridge above town for panoramic views of the Arkansas River valley. It is also the gateway to the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park, home to America’s highest suspension bridge.

On the Ranch: Stargazing & Little Spark

You do not have to leave the property for the best view in the region. Observer Ranch sits under some of the darkest skies in Southern Colorado, with telescopes available for guest use and clear views of the Milky Way most nights. Stop by the Little Spark Library in the Learning Center for books, workshops, and hands-on activities for the whole family.
